Beautifully Unblemished Vitiligo Support Group, Inc.
Mission
To increase public awareness of Vitiligo and offer support services for those affected by Vitiligo and their families through education, healthcare, and outreach.
Vision
To inspire, empower and encourage every individual affected by changes in appearance from Vitiligo.
Beautifully Unblemished Vitiligo Support Group, Inc., founded in 2018, is growing and impacting the lives of individuals living with Vitiligo in the state of Florida. We empower patients, families, and the communities in which our members live to bring awareness to Vitiligo.
We provide several services to members and their families:
- In person support group meetings throughout Central Florida and South Florida
- Providing information concerning vitiligo to our members through our website, social media platforms, newsletters
- Promotion of clinical trials, patient surveys, treatment options and research information
Our ultimate desire is to see changes for our community in the areas of:
1. Correct Insurance Labeling (a need for Vitiligo to be treated as a disease and not as a cosmetic)
2. Funding for Research (to help find a cure)
3. Funding for our support group programs (to be able to assist individuals with counseling, outreach in communities/schools)
4. To bring Vitiligo Awareness to all communities within the State of Florida.
