The list below provides information on the different membership options.

MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS

Entities that are tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and whose purposes relate directly to patients (adults, adolescents, children) and families affected with skin diseases, while aligning with the mission of the CSD.

    • Topical conference calls on organizational development
    • CSD website-url (skindiseaseinfo.org and coalitionofskindiseases.org) sent to all members of the American Academy of Dermatology. Includes name, photo, mission and direct link to organization websites
    • Joint display opportunity at the American Academy of Dermatology Annual meeting
    • Inclusion in the CSD Development Day and Skin Disease Research Lobby Day on Capitol Hill at the American Academy of Dermatology’s Legislative Conference (all expenses paid for 2 individuals from each member organization).
    • Membership on the CSD listserv (an active email group in which member organizations share resources)
    • Name and contact information listing in the yearly CSD brochure
    • Pride in knowing that you belong to a unique group of dedicated organizations who advocate on behalf of patients with skin diseases.
    • Two Complementary registrations per organization for the American Academy of Dermatology Annual meeting.
    • Two Complementary registrations and booth per organization to exhibit for the Society of Investigative Dermatology Annual meeting.

AFFILIATE ORGANIZATIONS

Entities that are tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) or another section of the Internal Revenue Code and that are trade, professional, medical, or research organizations (not patient run), whose mission supports the goals of the CSD. No voting priveleges.

    • Topical conference calls on organizational development
    • CSD web site (skindiseaseinfo.org and coalitionofskindiseases.org)-url sent to all members of the American Academy of Dermatology. Includes name and direct link to organization website
    • Membership on the CSD listserv (an active email group in which member organizations share resources)
    • Name and contact information listing in the yearly CSD brochure
    • Pride in knowing that you belong to a unique group of dedicated organizations who advocate on behalf of patients with skin diseases.

ALLIED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL & HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS

Healthcare providers and professionals (i.e., dermatologists, plastic surgeons, podiatrists, otolaryngologists, pediatricians, family physicians, geneticists, professors, physicians, nurses, etc.) who treat, care for, research, or counsel individuals with skin diseases. No member benefits or voting privileges.

    • CSD web site (skindiseaseinfo.org and coalitionofskindiseases.org)-url sent to all members of the American Academy of Dermatology. Includes name and direct link to organization website
    • Membership on the CSD listserv (an active email group in which member organizations share resources)

ALLIED CORPORATE BENEFACTORS

Corporations (for-profit, not-for profit, other non-profit entities) whose principle focus is services,advocacy, research, or manufacturing of products or services utilized in the treatment and care of persons with skin diseases. This may include, but is not limited to technology,pharmaceuticals, multi-media, genetics, dressings, bandages, protective clothing, devices, testing, and marketing. No member benefits or voting privileges. Sponsorship packages available.
